The Campbell residence was in need of a reroof and contacted Achten’s because of our local presence. Mr. Campbell mentioned that he drove by a few times to get a feel for the company, was impressed after he checked our online website and made up his mind after reading the reviews online. After thoroughly satisfied that Achten’s will be perfect for the project he had in mind, our estimator Jerry came to discuss with Mr. Campbell options for the new roof. Due to HOA restrictions, Mr. Campbell had certain criteria that needed to be maintained. Jerry listened to all the concerns and assured Mr. Campbell that he has worked under those restrictions before. Jerry mentioned that he had completed a job in the same cul-de-sac and showed Mr. Campbell the roof as an example of the superb work that our roofing team does.
Once our roofing team started working on the roof, they had to tear off the old roof and installed felt buster synthetic underlayment. They made sure to reinforce the valleys and penetration with ice/water leak protectors. Mr. Campbell went with the GAF Timberline HD in Charcoal because of the HOA restrictions, but included a Velux Skylight and he decided to install torch down along the patio roof.
During the whole process, Mr. Campbell was extremely pleased that we went above and beyond to make sure that they were safe and protected throughout the whole process. Mr. Campbell told us about an incident late at night during the tear off process, it was raining extremely hard and the Campbell’s weren’t sure if water will come through the exposed area. To their surprise, two men from Achten’s showed up to tarp the area to ensure that they have the peace of mind. Mr. Campbell has, since then complimented Achten’s with his friends and neighbors for their exceptional code of ethics and superior worksmanship.
